Jacob's field trip

Jacob's class had a field trip and I got to go along! First they visited the fire station. They got spoiled by all the firefighters and got to spray a hose.

Take tours of the fire engines.

Dress up in fire fighter costumes.

Aren't they cute?

And they even got to see what the inside of an ambulance was like. They let kids sit on the gurney and Jake even got to wear a stethoscope and listen to his heart.

At the end the fire chief wanted to pose all the kids on the ladder. Jake was brave at first and then when he got up high he started to panic.

But he let me talk him through it, and look how high he got!

Check out the whole kindergarten class on the ladder!

Then we spent the afternoon at Waldvogel farm. They have a pumpkin patch, with hay rides, and fun activities for kids. Jacob wanted to pick out a baby pumpkin! The smaller the better.

Jacob's class on the giant wooden swing.

I was in charge of Jacob and Joseph. I made them go on the corn maze. Such a meanie huh?

We didn't go too far without getting turned around and ended up on the same way we came in without knowing it. Pretty funny.

Spooky fun.

New this year was a big bouncy ball area with covers on the bouncing balls. The horse was really cute.

Painted hay bales.

And of course, a sandbox full of - corn! Jacob spent quite a bit of time here.

Isn't he cheeky!
