Lost teeth and wax works museum

So I need to play catch-up with all the fun cute stuff going one.

Our April was really busy and May seems to be the same way.

Ashton lost a tooth! He talks so cute now, with a little lisp. And he only cried a little.

Emma had her presentation at the Wax Works event. The kids who signed up researched a famous person, wrote a paper and created a board, then dressed up like a wax works display. Emma was Emma Watson, and we dressed her up as Hermione Granger obviously. I crocheted the scarf so it would look good. And we cut the arms off one of Jed's black halloween cloaks.

Mary, her bestie, was Laura Ingells Wilder. Emma lent her a pioneer hat we bought in Nauvoo. It was really cute. There was Cleopatra, Abe Lincoln, famous football stars, you name it. And you pressed a little paper button on the desk and they all "came to life" and gave a speech.

Super cute!

The wax work thing is so creative... maybe we could talk our school into doing that...

It was! The kids were great - and most had costumes. Abe lincoln had a cardboard hat and eye-liner beard. But still so fun! That is an awesome idea to pass around
